The Hero of Skyrim

I have made a new Dovahkiin. Again.

She is a female Altmer, and her name is Aredhel… Not too creative, I know, but I wanted her name to start with the same letter as that of the real-life person I know that she’s a little based on – and I really had Silmarillion on my mind when I created her.

She is unusually friendly for someone of her race, and is fascinated by learning new things. To continue my MLP parallels, if Kiara is Pinkie Pie and Sveta is Fluttershy, then Aredhel is Twilight Sparkle (riiight… and now I am stuck picturing Paarthurnax as Princess Celestia).

She also loves travelling and learning more about other cultures – much to the dread of proper, superiorly bred mer. And mastering all kinds of random skills – which is why I am going to level her up like crazy, switching specializations willy-nilly.

Has a scar on her cheek left after an encounter with a giant serpent in her teens (the silly thing wanted to study the creature’s habits…).

Tries to find a reason for everything, which also happens to make her very compassionate, since she is constantly trying to justify other people’s actions.

Very trusting – and also horrible at budget planning… Which naturally lead to her hooking up with Ralis Sedarys (I mean, since I up and named her Aredhel, I just had to ship her with a suspicious Dark Elf, didn’t I?). Here's a little something about them: fav.me/d7huab9
