One of the most prominent images stuck in my headcanon - I've used it multiple times already - is Ondolemar looking down at Markarth in the light of dawn, mulling over what in the name of the *insert capitalized number* is happening to him and why he has become so attached to a person of a' lesser race'. Because this type of confusion is immensely fun to picture.
The other day I remembered one of those old songs I heard on the Muppet show, and all I had to do was substitute 'teenager' for 'Thalmor' (even though it doesn't fit the rhythm).
Yeah, I know that the lyrics say 'every night', while in the drawing it's clearly morning - my explanation is he's been standing like this for at least several hours.
