I don't think all Altmer would be bad parents, but I definitely can agree that Ondolemar's parents were probably pretty harsh. You don't end up like he does w/o a little bit of childhood trauma. I'm willing to wager his mother was a bit more caring while his fater was a jerk. Of course little Altmer boys wish to follow their fathers because being a "momma's boy" is just not acceptable.
